Happy Halloween

EN: Oh and it's that time of the year again that I love but this year I won't be participating.
My family over in the U.K. doesn't really celebrate it and my cousin even told me that there are people that put a note on their door so that other people (kids and what not) don't go there knocking for some candy.
Maybe next year I will be able to go to some party or something. In the mean time Happy Halloween!
Are any of you celebrating Halloween? Are you going to dress up?

Natalie Portman on the cover of ELLE UK - November 2013

EN: Natalie Portman (or Natalie Hershlag, that's her real surname) is on the cover of the November issue of ELLE UK. I spent the whole month looking at the magazine, "to buy, or not to buy?" and yesterday as I passed next to the magazine stand at Tesco I noticed something that I didn't read before on the cover "Natalie Portman and Tom Hiddleston get personal" I was like doing double takes... what is this all about? I GOTZ TO HAVE YA NOW! Oh f.i.y. I'm a big fan of Tom Hiddleston.
So basically Tom is the one that interviews Natalie. Tom and Natalie have worked together in the movie Thor and today is the premiere of the second Thor movie "The Dark World". Tom plays Loki Thor's "adopted" evil brother and Natalie plays Jane, Thor's girlfriend. All in all it was a good interview, good job Tom!
And as a little bonus, there is also a interview with Tom in the magazine, yeah!

EN: Hello Bananas!
Lately I've been having a bit of a blogger-block, by that I mean I don't know what to Blog or talk about sometimes over here. And the fact that I don't have my own laptop doesn't make things any easier, I can't properly settle down  on someone else's computer/laptop. Plus add to the equation the fact that I'm still looking for a job, I've sent a bunch of CVs and now I'm waiting for answers, in the mean time some have replied saying no.
Anyways I made today I little outfit post, it's basically what I've been wearing over here in London on a everyday basis. The days are getting colder but still bearable. Jeans and a simple shirt, my pistol boots (or sneakers for a fast passe day), a light scarf, a black bag, lately I've been loving dark blue nail polish, my makeup as been very minimal but I always put something on my lips, my jewelry is also very minimal aaaannnddd to top it all of my lovely Zara coat.
Before I left Portugal I managed to buy a Zara coat that I was eyeing for some weeks. And thank God I bought it because in Portugal was 59€ but over here in the U.K. is £79. Oh yeah Zara is expensive over here in the U.K., I didn't go very often to Zara while in PT and now I don't think I can afford it over here, although they have aaammaaaazing coats, jackets, shoes, bags and accessories.
Anyways that is all for now. Wish me luck!

London | STOMP

EN:  I'm going to try and do a new segment on my Blog. Since I'm living in London and every now and then I visit new places, I thought I might as well share it with you. So these type of posts will be named "London | (the name of the place or show)". Let me know if you would like more of these kind of posts.
I will start with a show that I watched on my second day in London, it was STOMP! I've known about STOMP for years but this was the first time that I actually saw them perform live. A friend of mine had some tickets because some else gave them to her, so the four of us went to see it. The show was at the Ambassadors Theatre located in West Street (WC2H 9ND), the place is about 100 years old and the closest Underground stations are Leicester Square or Covent Garden.
If I'm not mistaken the show started at 20:00 and it was about an hour and 40 minutes, it was a very small venue and we weren't aloud to film or take pictures, so I'm very sorry I don't have anything to show you but I can tell you that it was AMAZING!
While I lived in Prague I lived with a ballet dancer, so I know that she had to train/rehearsal almost everyday and then even perform at night the same day so I can only imagine how many hours they have to rehearsal per day, they probably have different casts, so is not always the same group performing every night.
The show was mind blowing for me and the fact that they make music out of ANYTHING, literally anything, from a bag, a box of matches, (cigarette) lighter, newspapers, garbage cans, tubes, brooms, etc etc. And the amount of energy that they have... I want to know what do they eat that gives them so much energy!
Sometimes the audience "participated" in the show, and by this I mean that we imitated their claps... yeah my hands kinda hurt in the end, so avoid having many rings on your hands haha.
Oh and also, avoid the front row (the closest to the stage) because you might end up taking a shower. There was one part of the show that they use water and there was a moment of SPLASH ssoooo yeah, the people sitting in the front row most likely got wet.
Honestly I wouldn't mind watching it again, if things go well for me I might even go again. The ticket prices go from £20 to £55. As a souvenir I bought some pins.

Musical Friday #120

EN: I spent the week in pain because of my wisdom tooth. Like the little unlucky situation weren't enough during the weekend my gum around my wisdom started to swell and then it got to a point that I couldn't swallow my food properly :S.
So since the last thing I wanted to do was go to a Dentist, not because I'm afraid but because I didn't want to spend money, I don't have a job yet and I have to save the money that I have. In the days that followed I took Paracetamol and gargled some warm water with salt and it actually helped.
Right now I'm a lot better, I can eat, talk, swallow normally, I just have a little "numbness" right at the back. I guess the wisdom tooth decided to grow a bit so it kind move the teeth in from of him just a little bit.
But as soon as I get a job I'm going to the Dentist and I've heard that they are not cheap over here (are they ever?).

Movie List #1

EN: I'm excited for the next couple of months because there is a bunch of movies that I want to watch. Do you go watch a movie (in the cinema) because of the actors that are in it, the story line or because of the Director? For me it's a little bit of each really, so you will see a pattern on my movie choices because of the actors in it.
What movies are you looking forwards to watch?

P.S.: The release movie dates are all for the U.K..

Hello October

EN: So what do you know... October is here and so is autumn. As you probably know by now, I'm in London so is definitely a bit more cold over here than it is in Portugal but still is bearable. As I settle in I realize I need some things here and there, mainly some good boots for the rainy cold days. I have some sneakers and some high heels boots and other shoes but since I like to walk fast I need something more practical.
I'm looking forwards for Halloween, although I don't know if I will go to any party or even if I can go but the funny thing is when we were still in September you could already see shops selling things for Christmas, the trees and decorations as well as Christmasy jumpers, etc... Oh Lord, I can't deal with all of this, I do not have the biggest Christmas spirit.
I'm hoping that October becomes a great month because for the last 2 weeks I had a lot of unlucky situations, the last one was my wisdom tooth that decided to star hurting me... really now? @_@ bah!
